Swiss Eye Week 2010
Basic Science Course: 25th – 29th January 2010
Clinical Science Course: 25th – 29th January 2010
Perimetry Course: 25th – 26th January 2010
Swiss Eye Research Meeting: 28th - 29th January 2010
Dear colleagues,
It is our great pleasure to invite you to Bienne for the Swiss Eye Week 2010. After the success in the last years, the organising committee has decided to pursue the adventure, but to transpose everything in a possibly more attractive location for the members of the SSO. Furthermore the courses will start on Monday and go through Friday.
As in the previous years, the following events will take place:
-
The Basic Science Course primarily intended for residents in their 1st or 2nd year of education, but also open to practicing ophthalmologists eager to refresh their knowledge in fundamentals related to ophthalmology.
- A Clinical Science Course primarily intended for residents in their 3rd or 4th year of education as well as for practicing ophthalmologists who may want to review general and clinically relevant ophthalmology.
-
The Swiss Eye Research Meeting gathering retinal, neuroscience groups as well as scientists in other fields of basic research in ophthalmology. Special interest groups may find this venue also suitable for a business meeting, but these meetings will not be coordinated by the organisation committee of the Swiss Eye Week. We hope that this attractive program and the interesting city of Bienne will attract a large number of ophthalmologists and scientists from Switzerland and surrounding countries. The official meeting language is English.
-
For the first time a Perimetry Course will take place on Monday and Tuesday.
